I just signed up , now what do I do?
3 Steps you need to take to get your site up ASAP.
Step 1 - Change your DNS information
To change your DNS information , please contact your domain registrar, or login to your domain manager to make the changes. The DNS that you need to change to is located in your setup email.
Step 2 - Upload Files
You need to have a ftp program to upload you files. Or you can visit web2ftp.com to upload files. The login information to your ftp is located in your setup email. Please be sure to upload all files to the public_html folder of your ftp.
Step 3 - Be Patient
It can take up to 24 hours before your DNS change becomes active. After the change is completed you will be able to view your site online.

How do I upload my website?
You need to have an FTP program on your computer. We recommends CuteFTP or CoreFTP. You will need to configure the program with your host name (your domain name), your username and password. This information will be provided to you after you sign up.
When you login to our server using this program you will see a few folders. Place your web pages into the public_html folder. Name your homepage index.html. Any cgi scripts you wish to use must be uploaded into the cgi-bin using ASCII mode. You will find this setting in the "File" menu of CuteFTP under "Transfer Type". The logs folder stores the server log information of your website.

Do you support Front Page Extensions?
Yes. However we do not recommend it because FrontPage was discontinued by Microsoft® in 2006. It is very old and buggy. There are many known unpatched security holes.

The url to your cgi-bin is http://YourDomainName.com/cgi-bin/ScriptName.cgi or you can just use /cgi-bin/ScriptName.cgi .

Your homepage file must be named index.html or index.php .

Can I upload or publish before my domain name has been transferred?
If you are not using Front Page then you may FTP your files using the IP address given as the server host name instead of your domain name. If you are using Front Page to publish your website then you will have to wait until your domain name is pointing to us because the publish feature will only work when your domain name is pointing to our servers.
